Alimos Marina is one of the largest marinas in Greece with a 1000 permanent positions. The Marina is located South West of Athens 15 Km from the city center, 8 Km South of Piraeus port and 30 km from El. Venizelos International Airport
Public transportation has improved, especially with the introduction of the Metro Lines. Anything on rail (metro, tram) will be more efficient and reliable time-wise. A large network of buses and trolleys is also available. You are highly recommended to use the Metro and Tram especially at rush hours as is an excellent way to take the south coastal route and arrive at the Southern suburbs.
The quickest way by public transport to the marina from Athens international airport is by the E96 bus.(Boarding outside the ARRIVALS TERMINAL between exits 4 and 5).
It departs outside arrivals and stops opposite the marina on Poseidonos avenue (bus stop is in front of Marinopoulos super market). It takes 45 minutes. To get to the marina from Syndagma sq. catch B2 bus till Edem bus stop. The marina is 100m to the south.

Taxi from airport to the marina costs between 45 to 55 Euros.
The marina has around 1000 places for servicing cruise boats and yachts up to 40 meters long. The maximum depth of the Marina is 6.5 meters.
